Peter Paillou
Peter Paillou (c.1720–c.1790) was a British natural-history artist of French Huguenot origin, best known for his finely observed studies of birds. Active in Britain during the 18th century, he produced drawings and paintings that were frequently translated into engraved illustrations for important ornithological publications.
