What Delivery Methods Are Available?

We use delivery services appropriate to the size, value and nature of the artwork being shipped.

Depending on the order, this may include:

  • tracked parcel delivery;

  • specialist art or fragile-item couriers;

  • larger-item delivery services; or

  • collection by prior arrangement.

Where an artwork is particularly fragile, valuable or unusually sized, we may contact you to discuss the most appropriate delivery method.

Invariably, customers discuss their purchases with us prior to placing an order. At this juncture, we discuss with customers the various delivery options, the costs involved and associated insurance arrangements and cover levels. The cost of such insurance is normally included in our delivery quotes, which are submitted to customers for approval.

Do You Deliver Internationally?

Yes, international delivery may be available for many artworks.

Delivery costs will depend on the destination, size, weight and packaging requirements of the order.

For deliveries outside the UK, customs duties, import taxes or other local charges may apply. These are normally the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise agreed.

If you would like an international delivery quotation before placing an order, please contact us.

For International Deliveries, Do You Have an EORI Registration?

Yes. Our Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number is GB094825184000, issued by HMRC on 3 October 2023.

How Long Will Delivery Take?

Delivery times depend on:

  • the artwork purchased;

  • whether it is already framed;

  • whether any additional framing or preparation is required;

  • the delivery destination; and

  • the delivery service being used.

We aim to dispatch available stock promptly and will provide an estimated delivery timescale once your order has been confirmed.

If an artwork requires bespoke framing or other work before dispatch, we will let you know the expected timescale.

How Will My Artwork Be Packaged?

We take great care when packing artworks for delivery.

Packaging will be selected according to the size, frame, glazing and fragility of the item.

Where appropriate, additional protective packaging or specialist delivery arrangements may be used.

If you would prefer to discuss an artwork before purchasing, or have questions about condition, framing or delivery, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Do I Need an Account to Place an Order?

No. You do not need to create an account in order to purchase from Tiger Lily Art unless otherwise indicated during checkout.

Can I Change or Cancel My Order?

If you would like to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Whether a change is possible will depend on the status of the order.

Once an artwork has been dispatched, or bespoke framing or other custom work has begun, we may not be able to make changes.

Your statutory cancellation rights are explained in our Terms and Conditions.

How Do I Track My Order?

Where tracking is available, we will provide tracking or delivery information once your artwork has been dispatched.

Some specialist delivery services may contact you directly to arrange a suitable delivery time.

We endeavour to monitor the satisfactory delivery of our artwork.

Returns

Can I Return an Artwork?

If you purchase an artwork online as a consumer, you will normally have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, subject to certain exceptions.

Please contact us before returning an artwork so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

The artwork must be returned with great care so that it is received by us in the same condition as it was despatched by us.

Secure and appropriate packaging must be used and should be of no lesser standard than the packaging used by us to deliver the artwork to you.

Where possible and appropriate, our despatch packaging should be used to return items, supplemented as necessary.

Unless the artwork is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or we agree otherwise, you will be responsible for the cost of returning it. Such cost must include insurance cover on terms and at cover levels no less than the insurance included in the delivery costs to the customer.

What If My Artwork Arrives Damaged?

Please contact us as soon as possible if an artwork arrives damaged.

If possible, please keep the original packaging and send us photographs of:

  • the outer packaging;

  • any visible damage to the packaging;

  • the artwork and frame; and

  • the damaged area.

This helps us assess what has happened and deal with the delivery company and/or insurance provider where necessary.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

What If an Artwork Is Faulty or Misdescribed?

If you believe an artwork is faulty or materially different from its description, please contact us.

We will work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Can Bespoke Framing Be Returned?

Bespoke or made-to-order framing produced specifically to your requirements may not qualify for the normal right to cancel.

Where this applies, we will aim to make it clear before the work is commissioned.

This does not affect your rights where bespoke work is faulty or has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill.
