Set of 4 - Van Wright Owls
The Von Wright owls are by the Finnish artists Magnus von Wright (1805 - 1868) and Wilhelm von Wright (1810 - 1887) who were well known in the 1800s as both artists and ornithologists. They captured details and colours not previously seen. These colourful chromolithographs were produced around 1920 by the Swedish lithographer A. Bortzells of Stockholm.

These beautiful engravings are presented in complimentary frames which support AR70 glass which provides some protection against the damaging effect of sunlight and cuts reflection so that the image quality is vivid and uninhibited.
