Danchin Horse Engraving
A fine limited edition animal engraving by Leon Danchin (1887–1939), one of the leading French animal artists of the early 20th century.
This example is number 187 from a limited edition of 500 and is signed in pencil by the artist, adding further interest for collectors.
Danchin was particularly admired for his depictions of animals and sporting subjects, combining precise draughtsmanship with a strong sense of movement and character.
Presented in a bespoke frame behind UV70 glass, which helps reduce reflection while offering a degree of protection from the damaging effects of sunlight.
