Curtis Rose Engraving
A fine and exceptionally well hand-coloured engraving of a rose from Curtis’s Botanical Magazine, dating from approximately 1794–1814 and based on drawings by Sydenham Edwards.
The engraving is presented in a bespoke frame with a complementary mount and UV70 glass, offering a degree of protection from the damaging effects of sunlight while also reducing reflection to allow the colours and detail of the image to remain vivid.
