Linden Exotic Plants - Set 9
A vibrant set of nine botanical prints by Jean Jules Linden dating from the 19th century. He was a Belgian explorer and botanist who explored South America in the 1830s, collecting plants. He pioneered the cultivationof tropical plants, many of which we have in our houses today. Linden published a periodical called 'L'illustration Horticole' to advertise his plants, using some of the best botanical artists of the day.
The prints are offered mounted and unframed, with bespoke framing available to your specification if required. Please email us for further details.
